Animal, vegetable, miracle : a year of food life

A friend loaned by this as an audio tape so I listened to it while working around the house and appropriately while canning marmalade. This is a fascinating combination of the story of her family's effort to eat locally (inspiring) and observation of how our food system operates (chilling).
